What Aithor Pro costs
Aithor Pro is a single plan with three ways to pay. These are the euro prices the app showed in Spain on 31 October 2026:
- 7-day full-access trial for €1.99, then €14.99 a month unless you cancel.
- Quarterly: €29.97 every 3 months (€9.99 a month).
- Annual: €89.88 a year (€7.49 a month).
Stripe charges you in your local currency, with an amount set for each country, so what you pay may not be an exact conversion of these euro prices. Whichever you choose, you can cancel anytime, with no minimum term.
Reading the table
Each row is a tool. The free column shows what you can try and, right after it, the catch: what gets cut off, what you can’t download or how many times you can use it. The Aithor Pro column shows what opens up once you pay.
Treat the free plan as a test drive with your own assignment. It isn’t built for handing in a full paper: long drafts are cut short and downloads need Pro.
Tools not in the table
The table covers the tools students use most for a paper. Here are the rest, each with its free allowance and its limit:
- Study, overall: Free: 3 documents, for life; if a generation fails, you get it back.
- Open questions: Free: 3 sets of 5 open questions, for life: they do not renew.
- Infographic: Free: 2 infographics, for life: they do not renew.

- AI detector: Free: checks of 20 to 500 words, only the first sentence and the first signal are shown.
What Aithor Pro adds to a paper
For an essay or dissertation, most of the difference is in Guided writing:
- With Aithor Pro: the full paper, Word or PDF download with a title page, Check against the source and a downloadable Process report.
- With Aithor Pro you download Word, PDF or Markdown, with a title page, linked bibliography, footnotes and table of contents.
- With Aithor Pro, Check against the source gives the exact sentence and page for each citation, only for articles with an open-access PDF (OpenAlex or Unpaywall).
- With Aithor Pro: Process report in Word and a link for your teacher.
What still has a cap on Aithor Pro
Paying doesn’t remove every limit. Some tools cost more to run, so they keep a ceiling:
- With Aithor Pro: up to 1,500 words per submission and the full result.
- With Aithor Pro: up to 1,500 words, with every sentence and signal.
- With Aithor Pro: paraphrases of up to 1,500 words.
- With Aithor Pro: 12, 16 or 20 slides, up to 40 presentations per month.
- With Aithor Pro: from about 8 to about 30 minutes, in chapters, up to 200 minutes per month.
How to see the price in your currency
- Sign in at dashboard.aithor.io with Google or your email.
- Open Aithor Pro from inside the app, for example with the Download with Pro button on a paper.
- Check the price shown for your country, in your currency: it may not match the euro prices on this page. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
Before you pay
Try it on a real assignment first: upload your brief to Guided writing and see whether the outline and the sources it suggests make sense for your course. If they do, Pro lets you finish and download the paper. If they don’t, it cost you nothing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I cancel Aithor Pro whenever I want?
Yes. There is no minimum term. You unsubscribe in the app, under My account, and keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you cancel during the 7-day trial, you don't move on to the regular payment.
Which currency will I pay in?
Your local one. The amounts on this page are the euro prices shown in Spain, as a reference. At checkout, Stripe shows you the price in your currency before you confirm anything.
Why doesn't the price I see match this page?
Because each country has its own amount in its own currency, and it isn't always an exact conversion of the euro price. The price that counts is the one on the checkout page before you confirm.
Does the free plan reset?
No. The free plan is a one-off trial, and each tool's allowance is used once. When one runs out, you need Aithor Pro to keep using that tool.
Does Aithor Pro have caps?
On some tools, yes. The humanizer, detector and paraphraser have a word limit per submission, and presentations and podcasts have a cap per month. They're listed under "What still has a cap on Aithor Pro".
